Wild Wonder invites children to delight in God as creator, redeemer, and sustainer of all things by immersing them in the wonders of the created world.

The wonder we feel when we look at something beautiful leads us to care for it. In the same vein, we value and care for the things we know, so there is an emphasis in Year Two on getting to know our specific place and learning the names of the birds, the plants, and the people that are local to us. Christian creation care is also hopeful. It allows us to ask the question, “How might I bless creation? How might I bless the Lord?”

Through daily devotions, nature study, and play, children learn that all of God’s works are good and that they themselves are beloved creations.
